| Description: | Bringing the simplicity, vibrancy and rural lifestyle into the subject matter of his art, Bhavesh Zala presents his latest series of works in Watercolour Wash technique at the MP Birla Millenium Art Gallery, Bhavan Centre London. The Mute Gossip series catches the subtle nuances and postures of village folk from Saurashtra, India set in the lush colour fields of agricultural landscape, and inspire the artist to capture the essence in watercolour wash – a technique which the artist has honed and will be demonstrating in workshops during his exhibition at the gallery from September 8-13, 2010. Workshops on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 from 3pm-5.30pm.(£15). Demostration of Wash technique on Sunday 12th 1-2pm. |
