Join us at the Annual Diwali Fundraising Gala for an opportunity to network, meet other supporters, committee members and the team at The Bhavan. The high-profile event is very well attended with over 300 guests annually, including dignitaries from the British Asian community and House of Lords Members. Last year, these included Baroness Usha Prashar, Lord Swraj Paul, Lord Navnit Dholakia, the High Commissioner of India to the U.K., His Excellency Mr. Y.K. Sinha and our Chairman Mr. Joginder Sanger, one of the UK’s top Hoteliers.

You also get to enjoy authentic Indian classical arts with both students and teachers giving performances across an evening of delectable Indian vegetarian street food and hors d'oeuvres, followed by a 3-course dinner.

This would be the 31st year of the Annual Diwali Fundraising Gala, celebrating the valuable work of our charity. The money raised goes a long way in supporting our future work. We welcome anyone interested in supporting us by attending this prestigious event. Dr. Surekha Mehta is the driving force behind the campaign this year, with able support from the staff and volunteers at The Bhavan.

“Bringing creativity, arts and value to the community is what The Bhavan strives to do every day. And it would not be possible without our patrons, teachers, students, and audiences.” Mr. Joginder Sanger, Chairman.
