Join an extraordinary workshop led by Pandit Debasis Chakroborty, one of the world’s foremost Indian classical slide guitarists. Trained under the legendary Pt. Brij Bhushan Kabra and rooted in the Senia-Maihar Gharana, his music blends soulful vocal-inspired Gayaki with dynamic Tantrakari (instrumental) styles.
He is an Artist-in-Residence at leading institutions, including Monash University (Australia) and California State University, Fresno (USA). He has conducted masterclasses and research in world music, inspiring musicians worldwide. An A-grade artist of All India Radio and Doordarshan, He has performed extensively and continues to do so across India, USA, UK, Australia, Europe, China, Malaysia, and Singapore, captivating audiences worldwide with his distinctive blend of melody and rhythm.
This workshop offers a rich, structured journey from core techniques to advanced artistry – including rare insights like synchronisation methods. Participants will enjoy interactive learning, live Q&A, and the rare opportunity to engage directly with the maestro.
