Chaturanga is a coming together of four Kathak schools in a shared celebration of the art form. Conceived by Kakoli Shankar Mishra, the evening offers a stage to the next generation of dancers, students of Kakoli Shankar Mishra, Abhinav Shankar Mishra, Amruta Dubey, and Suruchi Saxena, in a rare collaborative performance.
Through rhythm, movement, and abhinaya, the dancers explore the traditions they inherit while bringing their own energy and voice to the stage. It is both a tribute to the richness of Kathak and a glimpse into its future.
