Dr. C. S. Radhakrishnan is the former Professor and Head of the Department of Sanskrit at Pondicherry University. He has also served as a member of the Consultative Committee of the International Association of Sanskrit Studies and as a member of the Advisory Editorial Board of the Encyclopaedia of Hinduism.
