In commemoration of an inspiring milestone— Divya’s two decades of artistic journey in the UK- Divya will be accompanied by some of UK’s finest Carnatic musicians.The evening will also feature Divya’s senior students.
Kalaimamani Smt. Divya Kasturi– Divya Kasturi is a cultural trailblazer whose work spans continents and disciplines. With more than three decades of experience, her journey flows across dance, music, British physical theatre, Indian television, education, choreography, and technology-infused interdisciplinary work. Yet at her core lie two inseparable forces: Bharatanatyam and Carnatic music — the twin pulses of her Art. Rooted in the classical tradition of Bharatanatyam, she has spent the past decade pushing its boundaries through bold technological innovation while continuing to perform the classical form with exceptional artistry. With performances spanning global stages, having worked with iconic artists such as Maestro Ilayaraja, Sir Paul McCartney, Simon McBurney and Sri Mavin Khoo alongside pioneering integration of 3D hologram technology & Virtual Reality with Bharatanatyam, Divya is consistently at the forefront of artistic innovation.
