Nina draws from her decades of mastery in Bharatanatyam, using it as a language to explore themes that are both ancient and strikingly relevant today. But what truly elevates EkatA is the intimate collaboration at its core.
Nina is accompanied live on stage by her husband, Yadav Yadavan, a distinguished Karnatic vocalist. Their creative partnership spans over two decades, and their mutual understanding is deeply felt in every note and movement. Yadavan’s original compositions, crafted specifically for Nina, bring a unique musical identity to the performance – one that is soulful, layered, and emotionally resonant.
