As part of Summer School teachers’ concert series 2026 Sushmita Ghosh will present a Kathak recital at the Bhavan.
About the artist:
Sushmita Ghosh began training in Kathak at the age of eight at Kathak Kendra, New Delhi, under renowned gurus including Tirath Ram Azad, Reba Vidyarthi, and Munna Shukla, and was deeply influenced by the work of Rohini Bhate. She leads the Aakriti Foundation in Gurgaon and was Bhavan’s Kathak teacher in the late 1990s.
Please note that parking restrictions apply on the streets surrounding The Bhavan every day from 8:30 am to 10:00 pm, with a maximum parking duration of one hour. However, visitors to The Bhavan can take advantage of concessional parking with no maximum time limit by using the terminal installed inside the venue.
