An exciting programme commemorating the birth centenary of Indian composer Salil Chowdhury through an innovative presentation of songs and dances – exploring the poetic and lyrical similarity between the songs of two Indian musical legends – Rabindranath Tagore and Salil Choudhary.
Presented by The Tagoreans (UK’s oldest Bengali cultural organization celebrating its 60th anniversary), the programme is curated in English and features a number of highly proficient performers from the UK and India, led on stage by Aniruddha Kumar Ghoshal (Sasha), one of the most versatile performers in the field of music andtheatre today.
