Inaugurated on 13th June 2002 by the Right Honourable Tessa Jowell MP, Chairman of the Millennium Commission, the M P Birla Millennium Art Gallery is a large contemporary art space in the heart of London.

The spacious bright gallery comes equipped with movable track lighting, fully adjustable track hanging system, and wooden floors opening onto a decked terrace. It comes with a store room with chairs, tables and pedestals for use in the gallery space. The gallery is 140 sq m. The opening hours are 11 am – 7 pm daily. It is fully accessible with a lift to the ground floor.

Available for hire by artists, promoters and art dealers, the exhibition space has been used for the display of paintings, photographs, moving image and sculpture. Art workshops, poetry readings, artists’ talks and conferences can also be conducted here. The gallery has had national and International art exhibitions in the years since its opening, and exhibition content does not have to be related to India.
